Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the martial arts or horror genres. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies and has a fascination with the morbid. She began reviewing in late 2009 and after gaining some status through the forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. The site was up and running through the beginning of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned to Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In addition, she appeared in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! She has appeared on Brad Jones' series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows aswell occasionally adult comedy (such as Baywatch 2017). After reviewing films in 2009 her name was a hit through the Channel Awesome forums. After joining the official family consisting of Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She has appeared in numerous seasons on Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the Channel Awesome family together with Doug Walker.
